CHARACTERISTICS:
FLYER is appropriate for producing fabrics for residential furniture, contract or outdoor as it is extremely soft as well as resistant to sun light, fungus, bacteria and anti-pilling.
It is a yarn that is nature friendly and is produced from non-toxic and non-allergenic substances. It has passed numerous compatibility tests including those of nutrition and hospital thanks to the high resistance to fungus and bacteria.
It is resistant to sun light, saltiness, chlorine, acids, sun screen cream, sweat, stains and wear for many years.
It is easily washable at 40°, it does not fade and does not require ironing. It is the lightest in weight amongst all of the known yarn (the only one that floats). It is available in 252 colours and in numerous variations in count and in quality appropriate for weft, wrap, or fancy yarns.
FLYER is 100% RECYCLABLE and the energy consumed to produce it is less than any other known synthetic fibre. The environmental advantage achieved is considerable.
It is also available in the CLASS 1 fireproof version.

CHARACTERISTICS:
ESSEGOMMA yarns are always stabilized for U.V rays thanks to special additives. For the most commonly produced colours the resistance to light is normally between 6 and 8 in the DIN 5400A (blue) scale. For further information, our quality office can provide details for each individual colour.
High stabilization to ultra-violet rays for outdoor use. (Sun tents, umbrellas, technical fabrics or contract). Heat-setting (suggested over 120 torsions per meter) allows the strand greater processing and reduced shrinkage during the finishing phase (for further information consult the technical booklet). High tenacity: upon request, it is possible to increase the rupture resistance of the yarn up to 7 gr/den. For further information consult the Technical Chart.
